Q1. Please share your educational and professional journey?

Education background: Electronics and Communication from JECRC Jaipur 2015.

In 2017 I did 1 year certificate course from Great learning in Big Data Machine learning.

Professional Journey: Started my career with Accenture as Application development analyst. Worked as Data Analyst in Retail domain and worked as RPAS (Retail Predictive application Server) Consultant. After 2 years I moved to Siemens Healthineers, started my work as Data Scientist, and worked on multiple projects including Dashboarding for software quality team to log analysis and building Data Lake using big data framework.

Then after 2 years I moved to Philips R&D and currently working in on various solutions for marketing team and advance Medical imaging solutions.

Q2. What did attract you towards Data Science Domain?

So, I was head of Robotics club in my college and have participated in various robotics events including ROBOCON. So my interest was towards Robotics and Automation and I remember in Accenture when I was preparing for one MIT Python ATA.2 certification I came across one course on AI after completing that course. It was clear that this is what I want to do in my career.

Q3. Data Science is everywhere in the world right now. Is it early stage of Data Science Domain or it has come on saturation point?

I will say it is just a starting point. Just in last 2 years, people have actually realized that it is not only the Hype but also great possibility and there is no escape. When everyone is the world is harnessing the data, creating winning solutions which no humans have ever thought is possible. The pace at which advancement is happening is uncontrollable. So even if you want or not you have to be the part of this race if you want to survive.

So from Research point of view, great work is happening everywhere and now this COVID has worked as a catalyst in bringing those research works to actual production which will change everything around the world. Those companies and products that were ahead in this digital journey have in cashed this COVID situation whereas those businesses who were still working in their traditional way have suffered allots. Therefore, it is clear this is just the starting of new era.

Q4. Where do you want to see yourself after 10 years in career?

I want to be among the Top Data scientist in the country and working either is Head of some Company and Driving their AI strategy or I will be heading my own AI Startup and at the same time coaching and mentoring students and working professionals on Data Science and AI.

Q5. Which one thing do you want to change in yourself and why?

I think right now little bit of time management and execution of my plans.

I have lot of ideas on projects and work but only handful of them I complete. So I want to change this.

Q6. What kind of problems have you faced maximum in your Data Science Project and how did you remove it?

Data …. Yes Data collection one of the biggest problem and I believe everyone is facing that. After that understanding data, domain and data pre-processing all these steps are crucial and until you will have real time experience you will not get it.

So, It’s a loop you go through multiple cycles of different experiments and prototypes, going through different research papers and trying out different strategy to actually figure out what works best for your problem and last but not the least transfer learning of not model but techniques and strategy.

Q7. Which one skill do you like most about yourself?

I like to explore new technologies, tools, and platform and I am good at this. All my managers and Leads gave me same feedback and I feel that drives me more in this fast changing technological space.

Q8. You are an AI, ML and Data Science Mentor too. How do you see Online Courses to become a Data Scientist?

I have gone through both through both Online courses and MOOC. I believe someone who is totally fresh and have no idea what is this whole Data world is should go through some good Online course which will provide detailed theory as well as practical exposure to them and help them in driving their career path as there is too much to absorb for a newbie. Apart from that, you have to continuously learn through various mediums.
