Q1. Please share your educational and professional journey?
Hi Mitesh, thanks for inviting me to your blog.
This is Nitin Dabas, founder of DabasBlog.com This is my main blog where I write on topics related to Blogging, SEO, and Affiliate Marketing. I have a Facebook group and Twitter account where I share the latest updates to my audience. You can join them for the latest updates related to blogging.
Apart from it, I run some micro-niche blogs too.
Talking about my educational background, then, I’m a B.Tech (ECE) graduate.
Q2. Why do you select Blogging as a career?
I heard of blogging during my college days. I saw a huge scope in it, like financial freedom, understanding the concept that how a website works, and of course, my eagerness towards computer and networking. All these things motivated me to learn more about Blogging.
Q3. What are you sharing with your blog “DabasBlog”?
I write mainly in the blogging niche. It covers topics like Blogging, SEO, Affiliate Marketing, etc.
Q4. What kind of problems have you faced in your Blogging journey and how did you remove it?
The biggest obstacle was the mindset. Though I started blogging in 2014 and feel motivated for blogging, I was not able to convince my parents to opt for Blogging as a career. This led me to pause my blogging journey after 2 years of starting some micro-niche blogs that I resumed back in early 2020.
The second one was experimenting with new things. When I started to blog, I use Google Adsense for monetization and I have some fear of choosing other monetization options.
This was the biggest mistake that I made which was also the reason for a break in my blogging journey. But in my fresh journey, I overcome this fear by opting Affiliate Marketing as my prime monetization method.
Along with these, I started keyword research and domain analysis that I never used in my past journey.
Q5. What is the best procedure to start a new Blog in this year? Is it too late or anyone can make their career in Blogging?
Yes, of course, anyone can start blogging right now if he is motivated to it. It’s never late to take a step that is for a bright future.
Blogging is Evergreen.
Well, to start a blog, first you’ve to analyze yourself that on which topic you can write 20 posts without being bored. If you find the topic or field then, I think you should start blogging instantly.
The process of creating a blog starts with a domain name. It is the name that represents a blog, so it should be related to the niche. The second thing is the blogging platform, you may choose a free blogging platform like Blogger.com or you can choose self-hosted WordPress for which you need a paid hosting. I would recommend choosing a paid hosting and a custom domain for long-lasting blogging career.

Q6. Which is the best hosting provider for Blogging in the world?
There are many hosting providers that you may choose for your blog. But, you should take a look at how much resources you get, is there any downtime that you may face with the hosting, customer reviews of the company.
I would recommend WPX hosting, A2 Hosting, Siteground, and GreenGeeks, all these companies provide good service and great customer support.
Q7. Which are the best tools to promote any WordPress Blog?
Nowadays, around 7 out of 10 uses social media accounts on daily basis. The reason being everything is online whether it is a small business or a large one. Thus, if you use these social media channels, then you get not only huge traffic but also a targeted audience that converts better.
I use Social Channels like Facebook, Twitter, Quora, etc. and email lists for promoting my blog.
However, there are quite good paid tools also like BuzzSumo, SEMrush, Buffer, etc.
Q8. Which one is the best Keyword researcher tool for Blogging in the world?
The best keyword research tool, especially for bloggers, is SEMrush. It is the most trustworthy tool that is being used by many SEO experts and agencies. In addition to this, there are some tools which provide value like, Ahrefs, SE Ranking, SEO Powersuit, KWFinder, etc.
Q9. How can anyone increase organic users for a blog without any investment?
Well, increasing blog traffic depends on SEO when you don’t want to invest in promotion. For search engine optimization, you have to follow a proper strategy. Here are some tips-
- Focus on quality content, not on quantity
- Use a title that attracts visitors to click on it
- Use keywords in the title and at relevant fields in the content
- Posts URLs must be short and contain the focus keyword
- Use images in the content to describe words more clearly
- Comment on blogs related to your niche to build backlinks
- Do social sharing and email list building
- Guest Posting
So, these are some methods that can help in boosting the traffic on a blog.
