Q1. Please share your educational and professional journey with us?

I have done BBA, MBA (Finance), UGC-NET, RPSC-SET and PhD (Finance). I have started me career with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company as Management Trainee. I have worked with various Management Institutes and Universities in India, such as Prestige Institute of Management and Research Indore, Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences Indore, Marwadi University, Rajkot and others.
I have cleared many NISM and NCFM modules from SEBI and NSE in Financial Markets. I am the certified trainer of TCS, SEBI and ICAI.
I am having more than 14 years of experience of corporate and academics.

Q2. What did attract you towards teaching instead of any corporate job?

When I was doing BBA from that time only I have made a mind to do PhD. ICICI was my campus placement and with the same job I have applied to PhD in many Universities. I got suggestion from one of the panel for PhD interview that for successful completion of PhD, I need to join academics and I have shifted myself from corporate to academics.

Q3. You have a great experience in Finance. What is the importance of Finance in life and how anyone learns Financial Management in easy way?

Finance in an important part of life. Without proper financial management and planning one cannot survive properly. I believe in one saying “Duniya main Jab Tak Aapki Jeb main Paisa hai Log Puchengye Kaisa Hai..” and this is true also. So, one need to understand and need and management of finance properly.
For learning of financial management in easy way is just read good books in finance, articles and some movies where person fails due to wrong financial planning. In simple words we have to practice finance for good learning.

Q4. How do you excel students in their academics and career?

I always insist my students to give their best in life. I motivate them to do some add-on’s in the form of certificates and develop their skill for good opportunities in the corporate world.

Q5. World is suffering from Pandemic. Financial conditions are worst at this time. How long does it take to recover? How do you see the Post Covid time for market and jobs?

After Pandemic World as started growing with the same. Initially Pandemic as affected the financial conditions of Governments, corporates and individuals, but we are learning from our mistakes and now most of us are ready with the corpus for contingency, started managing risk with insurance and investments.
Post Covid the economy is growing and good opportunities for job is available in most of the sectors like BFSI, Automobile, IT and many more.

Q6. What was your Thesis topic in Ph.D? Please share some brief about it?

I have done PhD on “Effect of Financial Performance of Market Capitalization: A Study of Listed Infrastructural Companies in India”. In my research I have identified the major financial performances of the companies which affects the Market Cap of the firms i.e. the fundamental study and also build the model with the help of ARIM for short-term prediction of the Market Cap of the companies i.e. technical analysis. This thesis helps to corporates and individuals to identify the trends of companies in coming future.

Q7. Which one thing do you want to change in Education System? Is new online study pattern good for students?

I personally believe that in our education system we must remove the grading system, because if someone who is getting good marks have good skills and who is getting below average marks having bad skills is not a good model for the development of students. We have to focus on more and more skill based learning rather than theoretical learning.
Yes new online study pattern is good for students to develop their skills and getting platform for better learning at effective cost.

Q8. Which one skill do you like most about yourself?

Even I am in learning phase of my life but yes I can say that the skill I like most in myself is that I am having good connect with my student for their overall development in life which helps them to become a good person.
