Q1. Please share your educational and professional journey with us?

I am a determined Undergraduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering, also a Postgraduate in Remote sensing And Wireless Sensor Networks with good communication skills and ready to work utilizing the skills acquired during my course. Completed MBA in Marketing Management, .Completed Doctorate Programme in Communication and Networking Engineering.

Award winner for the tilte “Distinguished Engineer-2019” by an international professional society- Malaysia. Involved in several Student Centric academic development programmes and conducted several training programs based on effective student centric teaching – learning process. Involved in career guidance and mind building counseling activities

Q2. What did attract you towards teaching instead of any corporate job?

I consider it as my passion to interact with students, it gives me more energy and satisfaction.

Q3. How do you excel students in their academics and career?

I am not just involved in type casted teaching, I would like to call myself as a mentor who can work along with the students by providing them guidance and suggestions. I like to update myself with latest technology and consider myself as a student.

Q4. What was your Thesis topic in Ph.D? Please share some brief about it?

My PhD Thesis topic is “ENHANCED PACKET COVERING AND STITCHING AND LOCALIZATION BASED OPTIMIZING ROUTING PATH AGAINST VARIOUS ATTACKS IN WSN”. This research plans to examine a scheme for energy efficiency of wireless sensor networks. Sensor networks vary in energy levels of nodes, in which few nodes possess lesser energy when compared with others.

Hence there is a chance for choosing a lesser energy node as CH (Cluster Head). Therefore, the problem occurs because the CHs die sooner when compared with other nodes and the networks lose its information.

Consequently, it results in the unbalanced formation of cluster and in addition few of the portions of the network becomes unreachable. In addition, in case of distribution of CHs is in a uniform manner and it practices the multi hop communication, and then the nodes which are near to CH will use more power than other nodes.

Hence it dies sooner, and cause loss of information. To keep away these problems resulting in an unbalanced distribution of CH, it is essential to handle a sensor network to guarantee that the consumption of energy across the network is uniform. Some of the objectives are as follows:

  1. To balance the load on the network and to improve the throughput.
  2. To identify the non trusty attacker nodes and removing jelly fish attack.
  3. To eliminate the low priority nodes and to monitor the man in middle attack in a sensor network.
  4. To check the intermediate nodes in the route and finds the presence of aggressive nodes in the network.
  5. To perform traffic free packet transmission among the sensor nodes in the network.

RESEARCH CONTRIBUTION

The primary contribution of this research works are given below:

  1. Localization Based Optimizing Routing Path against Attacks in Wireless Sensor Network
  2. Enhanced Packet Covering and Stitching Over Man in the Middle Attacks in Wireless Sensor Network
  3. Improved Throughput Based Recognition Connection Denies for Aggressive Node in Wireless Sensor Network
  4. Incentive Sorted Path Selection using Progressive Stable Algorithm in Wireless Sensor Network

Q5. You had both academic and administrative experience in your career. Which one do you like most and why?

I like administrative experience than academic because I believe that have an inbuilt managerial capabilities like quick decision making skills, people handling skills, good communication skills and I consider I always have a natural and systematic approach towards team building which the most important in administration helping in the overall development of any organization.

Q6. Which one thing do you want to change in yourself and why?

I have to be more focused, because usually I will be deviated into fathomed dimensions during working since I will sink with the team.

Q7. You had done M.Tech. in Remote Sensing. What is the role of Remote Sensing in today’s world and how do you see it as a career for students?

Remote sensing and wireless sensor network is a very demanding field today. Everything is controlled without any physical contact like the satellite images, Deep space imagining techniques etc. It can be linked with data science, Artificial intelligence and machine leering. Students can have a high profile career in this field of study in India and abroad.

Q8. Which one skill do you like most about yourself?

I am an adaptable person. I could sink with any organization and people.

Q9. How do you motivate yourself at every morning?

I am considering myself as most treasured person so that it’s my commitment towards myself to take care of me the best way
